ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking dedicated Care Service Employees to join our team in permanent part-time or casual roles on night shift.
In this hands-on role, you will deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care that supports residents' independence, dignity and wellbeing, in line with Evergreen's mission and HEART values.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide overnight support with personal care needs, including toileting, repositioning, hydration and comfort measures.
* Monitor residents' wellbeing throughout the night, respond to call bells promptly, and escalate any concerns or changes in condition.
* Complete scheduled night checks, observations, and documentation in accordance with care plans.
* Accurately document care provided and any overnight incidents or changes in clinical records.
* Assist with basic clinical tasks and medication support under the direction of a Registered Nurse, within scope.
* Maintain a safe, quiet and secure environment, including cleaning tasks and preparation for the day shift as required.
* Support residents who are awake or unsettled overnight, providing reassurance and assistance to promote rest and comfort.
ABOUT YOU
You are a caring, reliable and motivated individual who s passionate about supporting older people to live with dignity and independence. You bring a person-centred approach to care and take pride in delivering high-quality support in a team-based environment.
You will possess:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support of Certificate IV in Aged Care.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and team members.
* Minimum 6 months experience supporting personal care and daily living activities in an aged care or health setting.
* The ability to work within scope of practice, follow care plans, and take direction form Registered Nurses.
* A commitment to resident privacy, confidentiality and safe work practices.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a flexible, multi-skilled team.
* A current National Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Willingness to participate in a pre-employment medical assessment.
