About the Role
As the Quality Governance Manager, you will support the Director of Quality on the development and maintenance of high-quality governance frameworks to meet all regulatory and statutory frameworks and to support Bupa's purpose. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to support the implementation of change management programs which will deliver best practice care within the aged care practice setting through a partnership model.

Duties
- Ensure that the Quality Management System is evidence based, best practice, meets all legislative requirements and is tailored to the relevant contexts including rural, indigenous and diverse
- Maintain a strong clinical governance framework that guides operations and sets the expectation for delivery above minimum standard
- Develop, implement and continuously improve policies and systems to manage service delivery, auditing and record keeping
- Be responsible to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and governance activities which support continuous quality improvement in the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care and services
- Support and work with the broader Clinical Services team in the development and delivery of evidence-based contemporary clinical practice, especially mental health, palliative care, dementia care and acute clinical care
- Assist the Compliance & Accreditation Manager in the evaluation of risk exposure as it pertains to clinical care provision to ensure alignment with best practice and the delivery of quality care through the Quality Management System
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure that clinical assessment, care planning and clinical documentation and processes are consistent with evidence-based practice
- Oversee the implementation, functioning and ongoing evolution of Bupa's clinical governance operating framework inclusive of auditing
- Escalate risks to standards compliance and service accreditation to the Director of Clinical Services
- Enable operations teams to achieve and maintain full accreditation through the provision of a robust Quality Management System
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing discipline and management
- Leadership behaviours, skills and capabilities to engage clinical resources across the business and wider group
- Demonstrated industry recognised level of expertise
- Extensive experience in the delivery of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and professional nursing leadership
- Residential Aged Care experience within Australia at an operational level
- Creative lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities
- The capacity to manage uncertainty or ambiguity
- Experience in successful delivery of large and complex organisational change programmes
- Reputation for effective and timely delivery and making things happen
