We are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join our payroll team in Sydney to contribute to the seamless operation of payroll processes with accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities Maintain master data, pay records and files.
Manage the month-end and year-end processes and prepare and distribute payment summaries.
Control the payment and reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax, group tax, PAYG, PAYE, KiwiSaver, work cover premiums, insurance and authorised payroll deductions and other payroll related payments.
Maintain and utilise our systems including Affinity and our Time Attendance system, UKG.
Calculate and remit Superannuation Guarantee Contribution and Salary Sacrifice payments.
Qualifications and Experience Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations.
Proficiency in payroll software systems; UKG and Affinity payroll system is desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
