The Operations Support Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day business operations. This role supports procurement, contract administration, compliance, and general administrative functions across departments, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Commercial Operations team.
The Operations Support Administrator works collaboratively with the Water Quality Team and the HSE Advisor to manage an effective and efficient Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with ISO ****.
This position is part of the Operations Department located in Dandenong South and will be hybrid.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Support the overall office operational efficiency by collaborating with other department heads to fulfil day-to-day staff and office needs, including but not limited to managing suppliers, maintenance, and coordinating events and meetings.
Advise on matters related to IMS processes.
Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO **** requirements.
Review and complete supplier setup documentation.
Complete and manage customer purchasing portals.
Administer customer tender and contract requests.
Effectively communicate changes to relevant staff.
Manage and oversee systems to keep track of supplier records and licenses.
Organise and support team events, workshops, and off-site meetings.
Provide administrative support to the GM and other leadership team members as required.
Provide support across various departments and functions to help the Hach ANZ team achieve its organisational goals.
The essential requirements of the job include:
A minimum of five years' experience in procurement and/or contract administration with a similar industry.
Proven experience in office administration.
Demonstrated success assisting companies within similar industries to achieve and/or manage ISO ****-compliant management systems.
Proven experience in conducting internal audits.
Formal training in ISO **** is preferred.
