Join Our Team: Finance & Administration Officer
Are you an experienced Finance and Administration Officer who loves numbers, values accuracy, and enjoys working in a friendly, supportive environment? We're looking for someone just like you to join our team at the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron.
This role is central to keeping our Club running smoothly behind the scenes – you'll be handling day-to-day financial operations and payroll, supporting both staff and members alike.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and reporting
* Responding to finance and payroll queries from staff and members
* Ensuring financial records and documentation are up to date and accurate
* Supporting the Head of Finance with general tasks
* Assisting with occasional admin duties as needed
About You:
* 3+ years in a bookkeeping/accounts support role; experience in clubs or hospitality is a bonus
* Confident using accounting software such as Micropower, Deputy, Xero, etc. Training available if needed
* Detail-oriented and accurate with numbers
* Strong communicator and a team player with a helpful attitude
* Solid knowledge of payroll processing and compliance (experience with Deputy software is a bonus, but training is available)
