As Deputy Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership and high-quality advice and assistance to the Commissioner of Police, the Minister, and the agency, supporting frontline service delivery across the organisation. Working collaboratively with other senior executives, you will drive organisational performance, model strong and effective leadership, and lead transformational initiatives that embed meaningful cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and communities.
Your superior communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills along with your track record in strategic planning, corporate governance, intergovernmental relations, and multi-agency collaboration will contribute to your success in driving the strategic and operational direction of the Force.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive knowledge of the processes of government, and the preparation of Cabinet submissions, ministerial briefings and other advice to Government will be well received.
