Learning and Development Coordinator

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and organised Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator to join a dynamic and supportive team. In this role, you will report to the Learning & Development Manager and be responsible for coordinating and implementing a broad range of training activities that support employee development and business objectives nationwide.
Role Overview
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of learning programs across the organisation, from onboarding and induction through to technical, leadership, and professional development training. This includes managing training calendars, coordinating logistics, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and using learning systems to track, monitor and report on training outcomes. With a strong customer focus, you will respond to training enquiries and build proactive relationships across the business to ensure high-quality learning experiences. You'll support key processes such as education assistance, graduate and work experience programs, and work closely with vendors and delivery partners to ensure all programs are delivered effectively and on time.
About the Person
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement. A background in L&D coordination, along with experience in creating and supporting learning initiatives, is essential. You will bring a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a desire to contribute to a positive and high-performing culture. Your attention to detail, ability to prioritise, and strong coordination skills will be essential to your success in this role. You'll also be confident in using Learning Management Systems and tools such as Power BI and Novacura to manage data, report on compliance, and support training needs analysis.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
• Experience in end-to-end L&D coordination activities
• Demonstrated success in training support for a program of work
• Experience creating processes and procedures to ensure successful design and delivery of training programs
• Superior organisation and coordination skills, with high attention to detail
• Experience in using an online learning management system.
• Confident and proactive in ability to challenge & make suggestions to improve the outcomes
• Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong data analytic and decision-making abilities
• You must be an Australian citizen to be successful in this role.
