About the Role
You will be employed within EXCON Live team as an Air to Surface Coordinator.
This role focuses on providing support to exercise design and execution of collective training by engaging Joint and Combined stakeholders with Air Force planners and participating units.
The ASC is an instrumental role within the EXCON team, responsible for liasing between exerices planners, Army, Navy, Coalition and other stakeholders to ensure all learning outcomes are appropriately managed for each community. During execution, the ASC remains the primary point of contact for each stakeholder group to manage and coordinate their specific requirements within the broader exercise.
This is a hands-on, intellectually demanding role suited to people who enjoy working at the intersection of operations, capability, and evaluation.
About You
This role is suited to a high-calibre individual who has:
recent operational and tactical level experience within the ADF;
military aviation operations experience;
experience and expertise of Air to Surface capabilities;
a deep understanding of airspace management and C4ISR; and
exercise planning and execution experience within the ADF.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
Be an Australian citizen
Hold, or be able to reinstate, an AGSVA Positive Vetting (PV) clearance
Have significant Defence operational experience
Be able to work confidently in secure, professional Defence environments
