Systems Trainer – Digital Transformation Program
Profectus is seeking an experienced Systems Trainer to support a major Australian Government digital transformation initiative. This opportunity will see you working within a collaborative change management environment to design and deliver training that supports the adoption of new enterprise systems and ways of working.
This role will contribute to a large-scale program uplift and will work closely with change specialists, training leads and business stakeholders to ensure effective capability development and system adoption across the organisation.
The role can be based in Canberra or Brisbane.
Candidates must hold an active Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
About the Role
Key responsibilities are expected to include:
* Supporting the design and delivery of training strategies aligned with large-scale digital transformation initiatives
* Working closely with change management and program teams to understand business requirements and support training and adoption activities
* Assessing training needs and contributing to the development of training approaches that support transition from current to future state systems
* Developing engaging and fit-for-purpose training materials, including guides, modules, and multimedia content
* Coordinating and supporting training schedules aligned to program delivery timelines
* Delivering training sessions both virtually and in-person to support organisational capability uplift
* Building strong working relationships with program stakeholders and business areas to support successful adoption
* Monitoring and reporting on training delivery, uptake and effectiveness, including feedback from users and leadership
* Supporting continuous improvement of training approaches based on user engagement and program needs

* Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team in complex program environments while contributing positively to program objectives
* Have experience contributing to the full training lifecycle, including needs analysis, planning, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation
* Can assess learner needs and translate these into effective training approaches and knowledge materials
* Have experience developing fit-for-purpose training products such as user guides, instructional videos, and learning modules for diverse audiences
* Possess experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development initiatives
* Demonstrate high quality written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, structured training documentation
* Have strong critical thinking and analytical skills to support the assessment and planning of effective training strategies
* Exhibit excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate and represent training outcomes across varied stakeholder groups
* Are able to manage multiple work packages simultaneously, understanding dependencies and ensuring progress and quality outcomes
* Have an understanding of Agile delivery environments and change management frameworks, with experience supporting training outcomes for large-scale programs
