About Commerce Joinery & Cabinets
We specialize in the design, build and installation of bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, and other fixed furniture. Our internal team of designers and cabinet makers create custom joinery and cabinets that are tailored to any space.
Purpose
This role is responsible for the timely construction and installation of joinery for small to large residential and commercial projects. This role is based out of our Warana, Sunshine Coast workshop.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Installation of joinery.
* Work on multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of results.
* Read and interpret plans, specifications, and measurements.
* Problem-solving on projects with attention to detail.
* Construction of joinery to a high standard of quality and on program.
* Completion of construction activities on schedule with NIL or minimal safety or industrial incidents.
* Ensure that SWMS are read and adhered to at all times.
* Comply with quality control standards and processes.
* Complete works on or below budget as directed by the Leading Hand.
* Keep the Leading Hand informed of developments.
* Maintain the workshop in a neat and tidy manner at all times.
* Willingness to get involved in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Trade qualification in Cabinet Making is well regarded, further certification or licenses are beneficial.
* General Construction Induction (White Card).
* Current valid driving license
