Workforce Extensions | Scoresby's client, based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs, require an experienced automotive and industrial parts Spray Painter.
Working a Mon-Fri, dayshift role, you will commence as a casual, with a view to progress into a fixed term contract with our client.
The Spray painting facility is a new setup for our client so a qualified spray painter with experience setting up spray painting lines and areas & understanding the challenges involved in the initial set up process, would be advantageous.
Job Requirements:
*Preparation, painting and finishing components, sub-assemblies and finished products to a high commercial or industrial standard.
* Prepare surfaces using cleaning, sanding, masking and priming techniques according to product specifications.
* Spray Painting & operating the spray & equipment available to achieve high-quality finishes.
* Inspect surfaces for defects and repair or modify product, ensuring compliance with Clients' specifications and tolerances.
* Maintain, operate, clean & calibrate spray equipment and tools in line with manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
* Assist with problem solving and process improvement.
* Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures and inventory levels.
* Work closely with supervisors & technicians to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
