Fixed term full-time and part-time job share positions available. Term 2: August 2026 to February 2027. All positions will be part of the Victorian Advanced Training Portal.
The Department of Paediatrics at Mercy Hospital for Women is an innovative and supportive environment that provides comprehensive neonatal care for sick and premature infants.
2026 Neonatal Registrar/Neonatal Medical Officers will work within a medical team with neonatal fellows and neonatologists to provide care to infants in our neonatal intensive care, special care nursery and postnatal wards.
* Accredited for advanced trainees in General Paediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

About You
* Current registration (or eligible for) as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
* Applicants with previous Neonatal Paediatric experience will be advantaged, but this is not essential.
* Highly developed and up-to-date clinical and theoretical knowledge.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
* Australian citizenship or eligibility for a full Australian working visa (administrative assistance provided).
