Your new role
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the business and ensuring accurate and timely financial records. This is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with management to support sound financial decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Bank and credit card reconciliations
* Payroll processing and superannuation
* BAS preparation and lodgement
* Maintaining the general ledger
* Assisting with month-end reporting
* Liaising with external accountants as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
* Proven experience in a Bookkeeper or similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB or similar)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* The ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
