The role of a Senior Sales Specialist is to maintain or assist in maintaining existing sales for assigned account assignments and develop new sales by establishing and coordinating sales leads as directed within the required strategic business units.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Planning: Plan, prepare for and conduct customer sales calls, and assist with preparation of a strategic sales plan that communicates key personnel, sales goals, and account segmentation to the organization.
2. Customer Engagement: Develop key contact with strategic decision makers on assigned accounts, including technical, purchasing, and marketing teams, to promote the sale of products by utilizing advanced sales techniques.
3. Reporting and Administration: Prepare administrative reports and submit sales forecasts, budgets, and price approvals to management as directed.
