What you'll do
* Participate in the day-to-day operation of Central Specimen Reception including the specimen referral function.
* Exercise judgement and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
* Ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet service delivery deadlines
* Contribute to the CSR teams KPI objectives and performance goals by managing workloads appropriately and prioritising tasks.
* Build relationships with customers by using strong communication skills to achieve optimal workflow in specimen reception.
Pathology QLD offers a 24hr hour service. This position requires rostered shifts that will be day, evening or overnight shifts including weekends and public holidays.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
* Demonstrated high work ethics, the ability to work autonomously and a high-level pride in their work.
* Extensive experience and ability to deliver high quality services to clients. Ability to understand and react responsively to client expectations.
* High level of communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations.
* Demonstrated effective administration skills including keyboard skills. Ability to acquire knowledge of computer systems.
