Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
* Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive teams and stakeholders
* Oversee financial reporting, risk management, and compliance activities
* Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial systems and processes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognized accounting qualification (CA/CPA) and minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
* 5-10+ years' experience in a senior finance leadership role
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or similar
* Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
* Strong commercial acumen and a collaborative approach
* Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 preferred)
* A strong ethical foundation and commitment to continuous improvement
* Experience within the not-for-profit or community services sector
* Understanding of ACNC reporting requirements
