Teach Speak Hear (TSH) is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation, registered charity, independent school and NDIS provider that has helped children with speech, language and hearing difficulties lead fulfilling lives since 1966.
We are a proud Western Australian success story and a family centred practice. TSH (formerly Telethon Speech & Hearing) provides integrated services for children with hearing loss and/or speech and language difficulties from newborns to teens. A team of education professionals work collaboratively alongside allied health professionals to empower children to hear, communicate, connect and learn.
We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist who shares our commitment to excellence by using evidence-informed practice and up to date professional knowledge to deliver the highest level of service to students in our Outpost Partner School Support Program.
Our Outpost Partner School Support Program – a program which provides comprehensive in-school support for students with hearing loss who use oral communication from K-12 at our partner primary and secondary schools around the Perth Metropolitan area.
The role currently available is an 0.2 FTE position working across Frederick Irwin Anglican School's campuses.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative and nurturing OT professional who aligns with our organisational values and supports our child safety practices. Extensive clinical experience and working knowledge of all aspects of childhood development is required.
