* We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the timely delivery of key programs and ensure optimal performance.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working alongside senior leaders to foster team growth, build strong relationships, and drive success.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing personnel in accordance with policies, ensuring only personnel with appropriate skills and qualifications are employees/assigned to carry out required tasks.
2. Ensuring the ongoing performance management of the Distribution team and addressing performance issues in a timely manner.
3. Providing guidance to enable the safe and timely delivery of connections and appointment work in line with Client expectations and legislative requirements.
4. Consulting and supporting counterparts to ensure resourcing ability enables the delivery of the entire works program.
5. Ensuring delivery team captures and reports all relevant data from the field.
6. Managing and motivating direct and indirect reports to ensure all work is delivered to the specified scope, time frame, allocated budget, and quality.
7. Ensuring that resource capability, skill sets, and volume are able to service the forecasted work in a safe and efficient manner.
8. Ensuring adequate management of internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers utilizing processes and procedures.
9. Ensuring the delivery is programmed efficiently to meet or exceed client requirements.
About you
* Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs to ensure the effective delivery of work.
* An understanding of Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
* Effective cost centre management within approved guidelines, sharing resources for capital projects and achieving targets.
* Demonstrated competency in utilization of resources and matching the capability and capacity of the workforce and physical resources for the delivery of issued work.
* Experience in planning or strategy.
* Proven experience managing field teams.
