$120,000 – $140,000 + Car / Fuel + Super
With over twenty years in property development, this construction company has consistently set the benchmark in the South Australian market for architecturally exciting projects that are high quality, finish, and style, yet stylish
They are also renowned for paying their vendors, suppliers, and labour on time while collaborating with the best subcontractors in the game.
As a result, they have become the developer and head contractor of choice for tradesmen in the South Australian market.
Opportunity
They are seeking a passionate HSE Advisor to join their team and play a critical role in maintaining the safety of their apartment portfolio throughout SA.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes a fast-paced environment and wants to be the eyes and ears for their business's on-site workplace health and safety initiatives.
You'll have two WHS Managers who will implement and oversee safety protocols, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a safety culture throughout the organisation from the office.
Responsibilities
* Implementation of the company-wide safety management system.
* Monitor and report on-site team performance regarding site prestart, plant prestart, weekly site inspections, and toolboxes.
* Personally administer all other functions and deliverables of the WHSMP(s).
* Administration of safety management software program(s) (currently SiteBook)
* Coordinate incident investigations and report them to relevant persons and authorities.
* Coordination of WHS meetings and programs.
* Manage training needs analysis and schedule training for workers as necessary.
* Assisting injured workers to return to their pre-injury duties as soon as practicable following a work‐related injury or illness.
* Create and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, subconsultants, and all other key stakeholders.
* Provision of assistance to site personnel to collaboratively achieve site safety outcomes.
* Conduct spot checks on residential project fronts and report on compliance (particularly about site management and presentation, scaffolding, and risk of falling from heights).
* Promotion of WHS best practices through leadership and example.
People
As we all know, a business's culture and people make or break it. This critical aspect isn't lost on them either; they know their people are more important to them than anything.
Understanding that great people are hard to find, they are naturally picky about whom they hire.
Professional
HSE Advisors can come from many backgrounds and excel, so the only crucial need is that you've worked within the construction industry for a minimum of three years.
In this case, they hope to meet someone passionate about mid‐rise and high‐rise residential projects—someone who's hopefully overseen health and safety before or is interested in learning about it.
HSE Team
You'll get to work with two of the best HSE Managers the business has ever produced to be your direct reports on these different mid‐rise residential projects.
