About the role
We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at L KOVACEVIC TRANSPORT PTY LTD' in Wollongong, NSW. This is a casual role, with work hours varying depending on current project availability although there will be more consistent work for someone with relevant hotmix experience. As a Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials to their required destination. Option for truck to be taken home if suitable.
Be advised that inductions and a medical will need to be completed before work can commence.
What you'll be doing
* Operate a rigid vehicle transporting materials on major civil/construction projects in the Illawarra, Sydney and South Coast
* Conduct pre-start checks and report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs
* Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits and workplace safety procedures
* Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as needed
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes and vehicle usage
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience operating tippers
* Current HR or HC driver's licence
* Asphalt Experience
* Strong practical skills in vehicle operation, loading and unloading
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Must be an Australian permanent resident
