About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Tenancy Support Worker for our mission Family Violence accommodation service in a part-time capacity. This position is based out of Hobart, Tasmania

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS LEVEL 4

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Team Leader to ensure properties are maintained, cleaned, and stocked with appropriate items based on participant needs before, during, and after occupancy.
- Address maintenance issues promptly and maintain records in line with site requirements.
- Monitor the asset register in coordination with the administration team.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with participants, practitioners, and trades.
- Support service delivery to victim survivors of family violence by coordinating with Team Leaders and Practitioners.
- Purchase program supplies as needed and manage fleet safety protocols.
- Implement WHS protocols with leadership and administration teams, ensuring tenancy paperwork aligns with Family Violence National Procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing material and support to program participants.
- Attend meetings, professional development activities, and foster relationships with trades and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, guidelines, and TSA values.
- Support leadership in budget and finance-related decisions for program-related purchases.
- Contribute insights to property management strategy and guidelines.
- Ensure purchases, maintenance, and repairs align with budget requirements.
- Assist in implementing WHS training, worksite inspections, and fire drills in collaboration with the State Manager and Team Leader.

About You:

- Associate diploma with relevant experience; or
- Relevant certificate with relevant experience attained through previous appointments in property and program support to undertake the range of activities required.
- Experience of working in the family violence sector and having an understanding of family violence is highly desirable
- Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision required
- Basic computer skills including experience in data and record management is desirable
- A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check
- A valid Tasmanian Driver's license.
