Mechanical Engineering Internship
Location: In office in Australia
Role Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and development of mechanical components.
* Participate in prototype testing and evaluation.
* Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations.
* Support senior engineers in ongoing projects.
* Document engineering processes and maintain accurate project records.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
* Prepare technical reports and presentations.
* Utilize CAD software for drafting and design purposes.
* Conduct research to support project development and innovation.
* Evaluate systems and processes for improvement opportunities.
* Participate in team meetings and provide input for project strategies.
* Adhere to safety standards and practices in the workplace.
* Handle equipment and tools with care and proficiency.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design.
* Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
* Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Solid time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
* Familiarity with engineering analysis and simulation tools is a plus.
* Previous internship or project experience is advantageous.
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

* Available for a full time, on-site internship.
