Role Overview
This role involves providing high-quality, trauma-informed and culturally responsive financial counselling and intake support to individuals engaging with the National Redress Scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct client assessments to determine their financial needs and provide practical guidance on managing debt and finances.
* Support clients to prepare for and manage the financial impacts of Redress outcomes, including navigating complex financial systems and accessing relevant benefits.
* Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective case management.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Demonstrated experience in financial counselling, intake, assessment or client support roles in trauma-informed or social service settings.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
