Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley is looking for a Full Time Manager of Finance & Business Support to join our team.

Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley is located just 45 minutes from Sydney, nestled at the foothills of the Blue Mountains and on the banks of the historic Hawkesbury River, set amongst 8 hectares of landscaped gardens. It features over 100 guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, conference and event spaces, and the only Villa Thalgo Day Spa in Australia, making it ideal for getaways, romantic retreats, weddings, or conferences.

Your Responsibilities:

* Manage daily financial operations, plan work, and set performance goals for the finance team.
* Train and motivate the team to achieve revenue targets, providing necessary tools and data.
* Coordinate with department heads to promote teamwork and service quality.
* Use financial data and market trends to identify issues and recommend improvements.
* Develop monthly forecasts, conduct performance reviews, and provide strategic guidance.
* Create and support the annual budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
* Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Evaluate ROI on capital projects and assess their outcomes.
* Maximize cash flow through controls on inventory, credit, disbursements, and deposits.
* Review room rates and participate in sales strategy discussions.

Candidate Profile:

* Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
* Ability to drive accountability and lead a team effectively.
* Organized, adaptable, and comfortable navigating unstructured situations.
* Proven experience as a finance manager, ideally with hotel sector exposure.
* Ability to influence stakeholders in a collaborative manner.
* Full Australian work rights.
