NT Cardiac Pty Ltd (NTC) is a Northern Territory owned and operated independent Cardiology Medical Practice located in Darwin Private Hospital and Parap Shopping Village.
Our practice provides comprehensive medical services for treatment of cardiac conditions for patients in Darwin and the Top End of the Northern Territory. Our services include cardiologist consultations, diagnostic tests, cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography), Coronary CT scans, and diagnostic and interventional procedures in our Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab).

The Role
Our specialist practice is seeking an energetic and motivated team member to fill a full-time Medical Receptionist / Administration Officer position.
The Medical Receptionist / Administration Officer is the first point of contact for patients and handles administrative matters for our services. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Telephone reception duties, including responding to enquiries from patients and other medical practices,
* Importing incoming correspondence and patient referrals into our practice management software,
* Contacting patients to schedule appointments and to provide information about our tests and procedures,
* Clinic reception duties, including meeting and greeting patients, patient billing, and arranging follow-up appointments,
* Assisting with preparing patient files for consultants' clinics,
* Preparing and distributing medical correspondence to referring medical practitioners and clinics, and
* Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
This position also provides opportunities for further advancement and responsibilities for the successful applicant.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will possess:
* High attention to detail and ability to enter and review data accurately,
* Excellent organisational skills,
* The ability to be flexible and adaptable,
* The ability to work in both a team environment and independently,
* Good computer literacy skills, and
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in medical administration will be highly regarded but is not essential.
