We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for an immediate start to provide in-home care, supporting SIL clients, conducting day care activities, and facilitating community participation for various clients across Adelaide Metro (North, Central & Southern Suburbs). Experience in SIL and Community Participation will be prioritized for interview and selection. We also have highly challenged clients requiring experienced and highly professional support workers.
Your role will include but is not limited to:
Daily scheduling and allocation of clients through the deployment pipeline, creating a positive client experience and ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements.
Understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management, and Quality and Safeguards standards.
Managing client issues promptly and professionally.
Performing direct care duties as specified in the Personal Care Profile, including showering/bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, assisting with eating, and providing additional support as needed (including gastronomy feeding with proper training).
Following instructions and demonstrating initiative in tasks and activities to meet participants’ personal, living, community needs, team objectives, and program goals.
Using phone applications to log shifts and leave case notes after shifts.
Availability for regular shifts across a 7-day roster, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight shifts.
To be successful in this position, you must have:
Experience working with people with disabilities
NDIS Worker Screening
Certificate III or above in Individual Support (or equivalent)
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid Certificate
Full Australian Driver’s License (preferred)
Ability to assist clients with medication
