An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a seasonal tourism park in one of Western Australia\'s most iconic and remote locations.
This role requires a confident, commercially minded leader who can operate independently, oversee multiple departments, and drive both team performance and guest satisfaction.
Full Time | Kimberley Region WA
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will have full operational responsibility for a team of approximately 30 staff across:
* Food & Beverage
* Housekeeping
* Front Office
* General park operations
Given the remote nature of the property (nearest main station approximately 30 minutes away), you must be comfortable working autonomously and making sound operational decisions with minimal direction.
This role would suit a candidate with:
* Previous Park Management experience within a structured environment, or
* A strong Hotel Operations background, ready to transition into a regional tourism setting
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operational performance
* Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial targets
* Lead, develop, and retain seasonal team members
* Ensure high standards across F&B and Housekeeping
* Maintain strong guest service delivery
* Plan for seasonal performance and continuity
Property Management System: RMS - experience with RMS is highly desirable.
About You
* Proven experience in multi-department operations leadership
* Strong financial acumen and budget oversight capability
* Confident, practical decision-maker
* Experienced in leading teams of 25+ staff
* Comfortable working in a remote environment
* RMS experience advantageous
You are steady, solutions-focused, and capable of building a positive, accountable team culture.
