Associate Network Engineer
Location: Perth, Western Australia
Datacom invites you to join our growing Networks Managed Services team to deliver network solutions, implement solutions, and provide timely updates while maintaining customer service and collaboration. This full‑time permanent position requires Australian citizenship and a security clearance.
Responsibilities
* Provide 24/7 technical support to Network Management Centre clients; minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
* Monitor network availability and performance; detect, analyse, resolve outages and report.
* Assist on customer projects such as circuit changes, site moves, and roll out IOS upgrades using automated tools.
* Test, implement, monitor, and tune networking software and hardware to ensure optimum performance and highlight potential issues.
Qualifications
* 2+ years in a professional services environment.
* Knowledge of networking and firewalling covering datacentres, LANs, and WANs.
* Understanding of networking concepts and associated security.
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
