Job Summary
A dedicated HR Operations Specialist is sought to partner with frontline leaders and managers to drive a high-performance culture, employee engagement, and operational excellence through strategic people management.
About the Role
* Collaborate with operational leaders to develop and implement effective people strategies that improve team performance and engagement.
* Provide coaching and support to managers on employee performance, development, and relations issues.
* Oversee core HR activities including absenteeism, transfers, exit interviews, and performance management processes.
* Deliver timely and accurate reporting and analytics to inform business decisions.
* Support talent identification and development planning in collaboration with operational leaders.
* Contribute to change initiatives, including restructuring and capability-building programs.
* Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation.
* Facilitate workforce planning activities and recruitment approvals in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
* Participate in broader HR projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
* Degree in human resources, business, or a related field (preferred).
* At least 2 years of experience in a HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
* Demonstrated strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
* Sound understanding of industrial relations legislation and its application in the workplace.
* Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and judgment.
* Skills in engaging frontline leaders and employees.
* Strong Excel and reporting skills, with experience in fast-paced or customer-focused environments considered advantageous.
