Motor Mechanic – Join a Leading Mobile Auto Care Team in Cranbourne West
About the Role:
Friends Auto Solutions is currently seeking two experienced and motivated Motor Mechanics to join our professional team at our Cranbourne West location. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified technicians who take pride in their craft and are passionate about delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining petrol-powered light vehicles, both in our workshop and through our mobile mechanic services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in light vehicles
* Service and repair components such as engines, suspension systems, steering, braking, and transmissions
* Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks including oil changes, engine tuning, and safety inspections
* Replace or repair faulty parts using appropriate tools and technical manuals
* Use electronic diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance and fault codes
* Assist in performing roadworthy assessments and ensuring compliance with standards
* Provide on-site mechanical support through our mobile mechanic services when required
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and communicate effectively with customers
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)
* At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Motor Mechanic
* Proficient in diagnostics, repairs, and modern vehicle systems
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
