About the Roles
You will be involved in the fabrication, assembly, installation, machining and wiring of road transport tankers and associated equipment. Duties vary by department and may include:
Metal Fabricators / Welders / Boilermakers
* Fabrication of road transport tankers and associated components
Fitters (General)
* Assembly of mechanical systems and sub-assemblies on production lines
Prep Shop Operators
* Process and prepare metal materials in line with technical drawings
* Collate components and parts into complete fabrication kits
* Operate workshop equipment including guillotines, saws, press brakes and lathes
Hose Technician
* Purge welding of hose fittings (training provided)
* Swaging (crimping) and assembly of hose packages
* Supplying spare parts to clients
Yard Hand
* Maintain yard and storage areas
* Wash and detail completed tankers to agreed standards
* Assist with general yard duties as required
What We're Looking For
* Relevant trade qualification or minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong work ethic, reliability and flexibility
* Positive communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Manufacturing or workshop experience highly regarded
* Australian work rights required
* Willingness to relocate to Moama, NSW for this on-site role
