Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and deliver key projects in the mining and industrial sectors. This role requires a highly organised individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
As a Project Manager at IMS Australia, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and lead the successful execution of maintenance, engineering, and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and execute projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
* Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
* Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.
* Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
* Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor relationships.
* Monitor project performance, generate reports, and provide updates to stakeholders.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the mining or industrial sectors.
* Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with complex requirements.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Understanding of Australian safety and regulatory standards.
* Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver's licence.
