This is a maximum-term role culminating 31 October 2027.
A day in the life of our Parent Pathways Mentor can include:
* Working with eligible parents of children under the age of six
* Maintain and support an active caseload
* Conduct parent assessments within the context of continuing education and career planning
* Help parents to identify their goals by providing career guidance and pathway planning
* Develop, monitor and review a clear participation plan in consultation with parents
* Link parents into appropriate local non‐vocational support services
* Achieve individual KPI's and targets
* Ensure compliance with the Parent Pathways Agreement for all relevant activities
Knowledge & Skills
* Experience in Community Service, Children, Youth and Families or Employment Services
* Administration experience – experience using CRM and databases, intranets, and sourcing information via internet
* Demonstrated ability to work in an outcome‐based environment
* Demonstrated ability to develop high quality, individually tailored service
* Experience dealing with challenging participants and de‐escalating situations of conflict
* Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work within a team and autonomously

To be considered you must
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Have a current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
* Complete an Australian History Criminal Check
* Have a current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one before employment
* Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
