MC Truck Driver (Melbourne to Sydney Linehaul)

Job Description
WPE is looking for a MC driver to join our Melbourne team and complete a run that takes you from Melbourne to Sydney and back stopping at both Canberra and Albury on certain days starting on Sunday and ending Thursday afternoon. You will be driving a very late model Mercedes Benz Actros (1 driver 1 truck).
What you'll bring to this role
To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience:
- MC license and a sound driving record
- General knowledge of Chain of Responsibility regulations and requirements of a driver such as fatigue management, taking regular breaks and ultimately identify, assess and eliminate any risks involved in your transport activities.
- Sound load restraint knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with our customers and co-workers.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintain clear priority on task allocation and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate effectively in and across teams as well as independently without direct supervision. A strong focus on safety being at the forefront of everything you do. Demonstrated commitment to safety and incident free operations.
