**About the Role**:
- Supervisor of the Maintenance function for the PACCAR Australia facility in Bayswater - Responsible for ensuring plant and equipment is available at all times - Achieve department goals set for indirect labour Man Hours, overtime, Safety, Environment, Absenteeism and machine reliability. - Looking after the tasks and performance of the afternoon shift maintenance crew
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Balancing daily demands for maintenance of the whole Bayswater facility - Keeping Overtime, Man hours, Safety, Environment, Absenteeism and Housekeeping to goals set. - Ensuring a very high level of machine reliability, minimizing downtime - Keeping spare parts inventory accurate and PM schedule up to date - Coordination of contract labor and internal labour - Responsible for adhoc, emergency repairs and out of hours work including weekends - Plan & coordinate Christmas shutdown activities - Hiring, development and performance management of employees
- Previous supervisory experience - Excellent PC skills - Good negotiation skills - Project management experience - Contractor management experience - Trades qualifications, engineering diploma or degree highly regarded - LF license / Yellow card license beneficial - Excellent mechanical aptitude - Maintenance management experience - Autonomous and self driven
