Health Information Management Service Officer
South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) is seeking a Health Information Management Service Officer to join the Peel Health Campus team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support for the campus, maintain and process department information in line with PHC policies, procedures and health information system requirements, and support the delivery of safe patient care and consumer experience.
This role is a permanent full‑time/part‑time position with potential for extension or permanency. The appointment will be based in Peel Health Campus, Mandurah, Western Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative and clerical services for PHC staff, patients, families, and visitors.
- Maintaining and processing department information in accordance with PHC policies, procedures and health information system requirements.
- Supporting safe patient care and consumer experience, including participation in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Ensuring compliance with national Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health standards.
