Contract Details
* Contract Title: Emergency Control Coordinator
* Release Date: 2nd April 2026
* Closing Date: 13th April 2026 at 1400 AEDT
* Commencement Date: 20th April 2026
* Term: 3 months (up to 12 months extension optional)
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) and coordinate its activities.
* Facilitate emergency training sessions and exercises, reviewing and updating emergency plans.
* Prepare detailed reports and provide support for emergency response and business recovery efforts.
* Assist with environmental management, including coordinating committees, compiling performance reports, ensuring compliance with Net Zero in Government Operations, and advancing sustainable accommodation initiatives.
* Support property and facilities management, manage leasing arrangements, and assist with event logistics.
* Develop and share knowledge transfer activities with Entity personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
* APS 6 or APS 5 equivalent classification required.
* Minimum Australian Government Security Vetting Agency Baseline Clearance.
* Comprehensive background in emergency management, staff supervision, and strategic advice.
* Proficiency in report writing, stakeholder management, quality assurance, secretariat duties, project management, and knowledge transfer.
* Exceptional administrative skills; experience in property, facilities, and environmental management considered highly advantageous.
Compensation
* APS 6: $101,855 – $111,701 per annum
* APS 5: $89,463 – $97,837 per annum
Other Requirements
* Non-referred Labour Hire Worker.
* No medical checks or vaccinations required for the Labour Hire Worker.
* Work from Home or flexible work at the discretion of the Delegate.
* Gross Profit Margin and other employment costs set per Head Agreement: see attached pricing matrix.
* Timesheets must be submitted to support invoicing.
* Compliance with all relevant clauses of Schedule 2 (Labour Hire Services) including security, welfare, and reporting requirements.
