The leader in our Industrial tools, welding, machinery and workshop supplies category, your purpose is to drive in developing a strategy and lead the sales & profitability quotas to achieve sustained growth targets for products & services within your category portfolio.
**How will you be successful?** You will research and analyse the market with credible data for forecasting of market trends. By understanding your market, you will develop a strategy to differentiate us from our competitors to enter the market in a strong position. You will provide the sales force with appropriate training, information and selling tools to optimize our strength in the market.

**Your role**:
- **Research **and advise on market segment management and growth. 
- **Develop** plans and delivering support to the Sales teams for the product category. 
- **Work** with your strategic supply partners to drive good outcomes ensuring that both parties' performance expectations are met, and that Motion is the channel of choice for our key suppliers. 
- **Support **sales teams to optimize product pricing to drive both growth and profitability. 
- **Manage **your team costs through a cost/output focus on activities and track costing of projects. 
- **Identify **opportunities to take advantage of programs in specific customer segments. 
- **Recommend **category product ranging and branding including the development and growth of our PBL (Home Brand) range. 
- **Maintain** product and supplier costs and other master data for category portfolio products. 
- **Champion **new product, services and/or channels relating to product categories. 
- **Develop** collaborative partnerships with key suppliers to meet mutually agreed growth targets. 
- **Contribute** to S&OP; team to ensure accuracy of inventory and sales planning.
**What are we looking for you?** 
- **Formal **qualification in Business and or Marketing desirable. 
- **Demonstrated **experience working in high volume sales within Industrial supplies and MRO markets. 
- **Understanding** and experience with global sourcing and working in a branch network environment. 
- **Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills**:
- **ERP and CRM** experience is desirable - analytical reporting. 
- **Demonstrate **marketing experience and good commercial acumen. 
- **Committed** to engaging and working with the team to deliver success.
