As a Food Services Assistant, you will contribute to the implementation and monitoring of our Food Safety Program, ensuring that meals are prepared, served, and presented in accordance with our quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to design menus that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
* Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve meals, refreshments, and snacks in a timely and efficient manner.
* Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in our kitchen and dining areas.
* Quality Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and recording temperatures, inventory management, and other quality control measures.
* Resident Support: Deliver meals and refreshments to residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
* Collaboration: Work closely with our nursing and administrative teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Fully qualified Food Handler Certificate.
* Current National Police Certificate.
* Experience in aged care or hospitality.
