Physio Next Door is proud to offer our extensive selection of services to meet the demands of patients ranging from private health, WorkCover, and orthopaedic specialist referrals. Our talented team of physiotherapists have a combined experience of over 30 years working with Gold Coast's top spine, shoulder, lower limb and vascular surgeons to engineer and refine the best evidence-based treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
The Role:
Physio Next Door Nerang's clinic location primarily attracts patient demographics that include complex chronic disease such as headache, migraine, thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). As a result, applicants are strongly encouraged to have training in Watson Headache Approach Level 1. Anticipated caseload can include any combination of the following:
* Complex chronic disease patients referred from local GP's and specialists
* WorkCover, CTP, EPC and DVA musculoskeletal referral patients from local GP's
* Pre and post-operative musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients from Gold Coast Spine and Gold Coast Upper Limb Clinic.
* Hospital work with acute spinal inpatients and orthopaedic spine admissions at Pindara Private Hospital's neuro/spinal ward
* Teaching Clinical Reformer Pilates classes
* Occupational and corporate health and ergonomic education, management, and retraining
* Regular networking opportunities with local GP's in clinical and non-clinical settings
Our hours of operation range from Monday-Friday 0800 to 1730, with opportunity for both late starts and early finishes and weekend hospital inpatient contractor work.

Attend monthly multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex patient care with orthopaedic surgeons, radiologists, and more.
Work alongside experienced orthopaedic specialists from Gold Coast Spine and Gold Coast Upper Limb and Hand Clinic, with the opportunity to assess and diagnose patients alongside them to accelerate your learning curve.
Strengthen your musculoskeletal imaging knowledge using our direct communicating relationship with radiologists from QScan, where we are provided precise diagnostic tools (MRI, CT scan and Xray) to streamline patient management.
Rehabilitate your patients in our modern workplace equipped with clinical pilates studio and strengthening/resistance gym equipment.
Full patient caseload from referral sources after onboarding process and skills training are complete.
