The environment suits specialists who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and influencing cloud security maturity across a broad technology landscape.Your new roleAs a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you take responsibility for shaping and expanding a public cloud security automation framework that strengthens visibility, governance, and risk reduction across AWS environments. The position focuses on embedding security into delivery pipelines, uplifting engineering teams on best‐practice controls, and implementing automated testing, detection, and response capabilities. The role also involves developing meaningful security metrics, improving tooling and processes, and supporting teams to align to compliance and cloud security standards.What you'll need to succeedStrong commercial experience working in AWS environmentsProficiency in Infrastructure‐as‐Code toolingKnowledge of CloudFormation and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, C#, or C++ (Python preferred)Deep understanding of public cloud security principles, secure coding practices, and cloud governanceExperience building CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipelineBackground implementing SAST and DAST controls within deployment pipelinesFamiliarity with WAF and firewall configurationExposure to Splunk or similar log analysis technologiesUnderstanding of the AWS Well‐Architected FrameworkKnowledge of cloud security tooling, risk management processes, and industry best practiceStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in agile and collaborative engineering environmentsWhat you'll get in returnA chance to influence cloud security engineering at scale and contribute to a major uplift in automation, tooling, and secure delivery practices.
