You will sit within the newly formed Procurement, Property and Contracts Team.The roleAs a Senior Manager - Strategic Procurement (Legal and Professional Services), reporting to the Senior Executive Leader, Procurement, Property and Contracts, you will be an integral part of the centralised procurement leadership team together leading ASIC's procurement function to become a strategic and integrated function, delivering efficient and long-term value to ASIC.You will lead a team of procurement and category management professionals to develop category management plans and lead and advising on procurement activities to optimise total cost of ownership, whilst ensuring continuing value for money outcomes and contract performance is achieved.You Will Be Responsible ForDesigning, implementing, executing and monitoring the Legal & Professional Services Category.Shaping the long-term procurement pipeline for corporate services, legal services consulting, professional services and labour hire ensuring compliance with CPRs and Value for Money.Leading and advising on procurement processes in line with ASIC's strategic direction, government procurement and compliance frameworks.Assessing procurement and probity risk and implementing mitigation plans.Leading high-value, complex negotiations across legal, corporate services, professional services and labour hire categories, ensuring optimal outcomes.Fostering strategic supplier relationships unlocking opportunities and long-term value.Conducting contract performance management reviews with the business.About YouWith your demonstrated experience leading a team in end-to-end procurement, as well as exposure to the Corporate, Legal and Professional Service category, market leading commercial models and supplier market trends, you will have the technical expertise and leadership skills to make an impact and assist ASIC to achieve successful outcomes.You Will Also DemonstrateExcellent people leadership skills with demonstrated experience leading a team delivering procurement services in a regulated environment.Strong knowledge of the PGPA Act and Commonwealth procurement framework and probity requirements and best practice.Extensive experience in the development, creation and execution of Category Management Strategies with measurable and achievable benefits and outcomes aligned to business needs.A tertiary qualification, preferably an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business or Law with Procurement disciplines, is highly desirable.View the position description for more information or click ‘apply' to start your application.Applications close at 11:59pm AEST, Tuesday 10 June 2025.About ASICASIC's remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
