Are you a seasoned marine professional ready to take the helm of operational excellence? Bhagwan Marine is on the lookout for a dynamic Marine Superintendent to lead our Dampier operations, ensuring our fleet sails smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with industry standards.
This is your opportunity to be part of a respected marine services company, where your leadership will directly impact vessel performance, crew coordination, and client satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Ensuring vessel certifications and compliance with statutory regulations.
* Upholding company policies and maritime standards across the fleet.
* Coordinating vessel scheduling, crew logistics, and operational planning.
* Liaising with clients and regulatory bodies to meet contractual and legal obligations.
* Supporting Masters with shore-based operational guidance.
* Overseeing audits (OVID, CMID, ISM, AMSA) and ensuring timely close-outs.
* Approving purchase requests and assisting in vessel maintenance and refits.
* Preparing mobilisation plans for new projects and contracts.
* Participating in emergency response planning and execution.
To be considered for this role you must have:
* 5 years of demonstrated marine operational experience.
* Sound knowledge of maritime operations ranging from Marine Construction, Port Services, Oil and Gas and Coastal Towage.
* Demonstrated and proven experience in managing vessels greater than 500GRT.
* Working knowledge of applicable statutory and regulatory authority requirements.
* Knowledge of USL/NSCV & Class legislation and requirements.
* Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
* Leadership skills, including strong motivation, team building and influencing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong computer skills including the MS Office Suite.
* High standards of honesty, integrity, reliability and professionalism.
