About the Role

The Community Mental Health / Core Team model of care states: The "Community Mental Health Team" (Core Team) is the mainstay of the community mental health system. Core Teams provide a range of clinical services including intake, assessment, consultation, treatment and care coordination. Care coordination is the main component of this model of care and includes extended care coordination, targeted packages of care and short term care coordination.
The Clinical Psychologist will practice in keeping with the standardised Sydney LHD position description for the profession in addition to this position description.

Ideal Candidate
* Recognised tertiary qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist including full AHPRA registration.
* Demonstrated competencies to provide contemporary mental health practice.
* Understanding of and commitment to recovery oriented services and consumer involvement in service provision.
* Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
