Not your standard marketing role. Not your standard venue.
We're looking for a hands‐on Marketing Executive to help bring one of Sydney's most iconic waterfront destinations to life. Set on the harbour's edge with three waterfront event spaces, 32 boutique hotel suites and a high‐volume dining operation, Watsons Bay trades in extremes: seasonal surges, major events, weather‐driven trade and constant public visibility.
From long lunches by the harbour to large‐scale events, entertainment, brand collaborations, weddings, nightlife, accommodation, food & beverage, and everything in between – this role is about creating moments people want to be part of. You'll work closely with both the venue team and Head Office marketing team to execute campaigns, create content, drive events, support activations, and ensure the Watsons experience comes to life across every touchpoint.
This is a fast‐paced, creative, and highly operational role suited to someone who loves hospitality, culture, entertainment, and being in the thick of it.

* Working closely with venue operations to bring campaigns and activations to life in venue
* Managing social media content, calendars, and community engagement
* Coordinating shoots, content creators, photographers, DJs, talent, and suppliers

* Coordinating in‐venue collateral including screens, posters, menus, signage, and POS
* Helping deliver brand partnerships and supplier activations
* Supporting digital campaigns and ensuring campaigns are executed across all channels
* Being on‐site during key events and launches to help bring the brand experience to life
* Keeping a finger on the pulse of trends, hospitality, music, culture, and social moments
About You
* 1‐3 years experience in marketing, social media, events, hospitality, or a similar role
* Creative, organised, and proactive
* Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once
* Strong understanding of social media and content trends
* Confident writing engaging and on‐brand copy
* Loves hospitality, events, entertainment, and fast‐paced environments
* Happy to be hands‐on – this is not a desk‐only role
* Available to work flexible hours when required for launches, events, and major campaigns and weekend activity
* Photography/content creation skills are a bonus but not essential
