**Retail Sales Manager**

**Position Overview**
We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations in all aspects of our retail business. This will include managing staff, the sales and administration functions, budgets, marketing and contractors.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise business growth and meet targets.
- Manage the day-to-day operations and take action to meet daily targets while identifying opportunities to improve processes and cost reduction.
- Oversee the management of the contractors.
- Manage the sales team and office administration functions.
- Ensure all resources are focused to achieve a high level of customer service.
- Establish a customer focused culture within all department teams.
- Establish robust relationships with customers, suppliers and all stakeholders.
- Identify training needs and implement programs to ensure a high performing team.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products while staying informed on industry trends, competition and customer requirements.
- Identify growth opportunities and drive sales through marketing and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Senior Management Team.
- Salary package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
**About You**
- Minimum five years experience managing a retail business preferably within the window covering industry.
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing staff.
- You must be a strong team player that is motivated, proactive, determined to succeed with time management and prioritisation skills.
- Highly developed lateral thinking skills, operational improvement exposure and strategic decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
