Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Melbourne (Buildings & Places) Structures team. In this role, you will support the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across sectors such as aviation, sport, culture & entertainment, education, healthcare, and transport infrastructure. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help uphold AECOM's reputation for technical excellence and innovation.
How you'll make a difference
* Assist in structural design and project delivery, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and Building Codes of Australia (BCA).
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable structural solutions.
* Conduct structural analysis and assist in preparing design reports and engineering documentation.
* Support project management by tracking timelines, budgets, and resources, and engaging with clients and stakeholders.
* Learn and apply best practices to enhance technical skills and project outcomes.

Qualifications
* Graduate Attributes: We're seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
* Bachelor's Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or any related discipline.
* Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
* Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid‐year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027.
* Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
