About The Role
We are currently seeking applications for a
Pan Boiler Assistant
located at Invicta Mill in the township of Giru. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory and will require shift work during the Crushing season (June to Dec), and day work during the Maintenance season (Jan to May).
Our Invicta Mill is located 30mins south of Townsville and 30mins north of Ayr, in our beautiful Burdekin Region.
The Pan Boiler Assistant is responsible for the production of low-grade sugar by monitoring and controlling batch/continuous pans, assessing crystal size and massecuite quality and making required changes to ensure sugar quality is met.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Sugar processing experience
* Working at Heights
* Confined Space
* Maintenance skills are highly desirable - Rigger, Dogger, and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences
* Trade Qualifications are highly desirable
The successful applicant will also be required to undertake further training to complete the appropriate Pan Boiler Assistant station and maintenance competencies.
