Support Mental Health Professionals
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Worker or Peer Supporter to join our team in Inverell.
The role involves supporting people with lived experience of mental health issues, helping them achieve their goals and maintain wellness. You will play a key part in assisting individuals to realise their aspirations and develop skills through shared learning experiences.
About the Role
* Listens to and creates opportunities that meet the interests and goals of individuals
* Encourages shared learning experiences and supports skill development through self-directed learning and information exchange
* Provides individual support to help individuals meet their recovery journey goals
* Takes a hands-on approach to direct service delivery
Requirements
* Certificate IV or above in a relevant field or minimum 2 years' full-time experience in human services
* A strong commitment to recovery-based practice
* Understanding of challenges faced by people with lived experience of mental health issues
* Demonstrated alignment to Flourish Australia's values
* Effective use of Microsoft Office and data management systems
* Maintain a current Australian driver's licence
