Position: People and Culture Officer/Work Place Trainer and Career Advisor Location: Kerang District Health, Glenarm Nrsg Home, 13-15 Burgoyne St, Kerang VIC 3579 Job Description: Kerang District Health is seeking an experienced and passionate People and Culture Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to creating a positive, inclusive culture in our organisation. This role will involve a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and Payroll. Responsibilities: 1.Assist with the preparation and processing of the organisations fortnightly payroll and maintenance of personnel records. 2. Assist in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations 3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all HR and Payroll matters. 4. Assist with Volunteer management, including recruitment, on-boarding and maintenance of personnel records 5. Participate in creating initiatives that promote the wellbeing and satisfaction of staff members. 6. Collectively, with the P&C team, manage and maintain the KDH social media platforms, website and communications Qualifications: 1. Desired Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution. 2. Previous experience in similar role preferred but not essential. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Ability to develop strong relationships with staff at all levels of the organization. 5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 6. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 7. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
